How we buy
Italy · direct
The Italian wines come from eleven estates, most of them under ten hectares. We taste the vintage in their cellar, take what they can spare, and when it’s gone the name comes off the site — we don’t restock just to keep the page full.
Bordeaux, Champagne, the world · merchants
Bordeaux, Champagne and the wines from further out reach us through négociants and importers we’ve bought from for years. Every case ships from bonded storage with its provenance documented, which matters more the older and dearer the bottle gets.
