Tignanello is a famous Tuscan "Super Tuscan" wine primarily made from Sangiovese, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and a smaller amount of Cabernet Franc, typically around 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc, though proportions can vary slightly by vintage. It was revolutionary for being one of the first Chianti wines to ditch white grapes and use international varieties like Cabernet.
