Terms of sale
Every price on the site is in euros and includes Cyprus VAT. Delivery is charged per zone as shown on the delivery page and at checkout; it is free above the order value listed for your zone. Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed by our payment provider (Stripe). The confirmation email is your receipt. If a wine turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we refund it in full or, if you prefer, replace it with something of equal or greater value.
Age. You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol in Cyprus. We ask you to confirm this at checkout, and the driver will ask the person receiving the order for photo ID. If nobody over 18 is there to sign, the order comes back to us and we contact you to rearrange delivery.
Delivery. We deliver only to the Limassol areas listed on the site, with our own van, within 24 hours of your order being confirmed. The slot you choose is a preference, not a guarantee. The driver calls before arriving.
Returns, breakages and corked bottles
Broken on arrival: tell the driver at the door and we replace the bottle that week at no cost. Faulty wine (corked, oxidised, refermented): let us know within 14 days of delivery, with a photo of the label and the level in the bottle, and we refund the bottle in full. No return needed. This does not cover a wine you simply did not enjoy, but do tell us; it helps us buy better.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you may cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it without giving a reason, under the Consumer Rights Law of Cyprus (Law 133(I)/2013). Write to vineatitaly@gmail.com with your order number. Wine must be unopened, with the capsule and label intact; we collect it from you in Limassol and refund the price of the wine within 14 days of collection. The original delivery fee is refunded when the whole order is returned. Gift cases assembled to your specification (for example, a vintage sourced for your year) are personalised goods and are excluded from withdrawal once the bottle has been sourced.
Disputes we cannot resolve directly can be raised through the EU online dispute resolution platform.
How we handle your details is on the privacy page.
